I love to teach and I am proud to be a teacher.  My teaching philosophy is a learner-centered one.  When I plan for my lessons, I think about “what is that the students need to learn?”, “what is the best way to enable them to learn the objectives?”, “how to make the lessons more interesting and motivating?” As a second and third language learner, I can understand what their misunderstanding are, and how to help them comprehend.

 

I have taught a variety of learners, including High school and K-6 students, as well as adults in corporate settings. There are many challenges in teaching different learners but I always find satisfaction in moments when students are engaged and when I see their progress. I am a learner who is constantly growing from my job.
